BACKGROUND :

There is no documentation of Planter's existence until after his enlistment. DNA testing resulted in undesignated results, however it has been confirmed that Mateo's nationality is Hawaiian.

Records have been unreliable, thus making it difficult to determine Mateo's official time of enlistment. it is inferred to be rather recently, between 2010-2018. His position has been within the supply chain, as his combat ability was tested to be minimal, and intelligence operations were pathetically unsuccessful. However, Planter's memory retention and overall organization has made him ideal for sorting kit, supplying and stocking gear, as well as adjustments to load amounts based on mission details.Although Mateo is almost never deployed to the field, when he is, it usually involves extended recon or expedition missions, where strictly managed supplies are neccisary.

BEHAVIOURAL RECORD :

Mateo has been noted to be incredibly friendly and outgoing, however concerns from the brass have been voiced due to his obvious naivety and childlike behaviors. It has been observed that Mateo struggles to understand certian concept or items, to a borderline concerning degree. Another Operator ("KILO-5") is frequently seen assisting Mateo with his understanding, and thus fondness is noted.in rare cases that Mateo is angered, plant life has been observed growing or sprouting from various parts of his body. this seemingly is painless for him, and may simply be a passive reaction.

PERSONAL DETAILS :

Lack of DNA matching, paired with the unnatural sprouting of vines or other plants from Mateo's body have lead to the difinitive conclusion that Mateo is not human, despite his appearance.Oddly, even when deployed, Mateo has never once been seen actively engaging an enemy. the reasons for this are unknown. it has also been noted that Mateo has never been seen sleeping, nor does he seem affected by the fatigue that comes with such a thing.It was also fondly noted that he appears to have cat-like tendencies, and he has extended knowledge of space.
